CHILD SAFETY POLICY

Every athlete account records a birthdate. Athletes under 18 must enter a parent or guardian email at signup and confirm consent. The guardian claims the link from their own account, which is recorded with a timestamp.

Phone numbers, email addresses and home locations are never shown on a public profile for a minor. Coaches contact minors through the platform, and the linked guardian can see that activity.

Athlete search is limited to coach accounts that have been manually approved by Fieldproof. An institutional email address alone is not enough — we confirm the person's role against the program's published athletics staff directory before access is granted.

• Any sexualised, grooming, or personal-relationship contact with a minor.
• Requests to move a conversation off-platform to avoid guardian visibility.
• Impersonating a coach, program, or family member.
• Sharing a minor's contact details, schedule or location without consent.

Accounts are removed immediately and reported to the relevant authorities and, where applicable, the coach's institution.

Anyone — athlete, parent, coach or bystander — can report a concern. Reports about a minor are reviewed first. Report a concern, or email safety@fieldproofathlete.com. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
